Group Presentation & Discussion

(20%)

In small groups, students will present and moderate an in-class conversation about one of the assigned readings.

The presentations should be 30-45 minutes long and include a brief introduction to the topic, a summary of the reading highlighting the main arguments, areas of interest, counter-arguments, and new discoveries. The presentation must include illustrations of contemporary artists, artworks and/or cultural phenomena that relate to the topic.

Following the presentation, the group must be prepared to moderate an engaging 20-30 minute class discussion on topics related to the reading. Moderation format, questions and/or activities must be prepared in advance.

All students should read the text before the presentation and engage in active discussion.
